Bio

Hi Everyone.

I am President of the ​Cleveland Federation of Musicians, Local 4 of the American Federation of Musicians (AFM) of the United States and Canada. Local 4 represents musicians in Northeast Ohio. I also serve on the AFM International Executive Board. 

I am Secretary of Cuyahoga Arts and Culture (CAC) a public agency that distributes revenue from the sale of cigarettes to non-profit organizations in Cuyahoga County. CAC awarded over $14 million dollars in operational and programming grants in 2026. 

I was appointed Executive Secretary of the North Shore AFL - CIO Federation of Labor by its executive board in 2023 and then elected by the central labor council delegates for 2024. The North Shore represents 85,000 working people in 150 affiliated unions in Cuyahoga, Lake and Geauga Counties.

I was an adjunct professor of conducting at Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory for eight years, and the choral director at Lakeland Community College for six years. I directed choral ensembles; music directed stage productions and taught a variety of conducting classes.

I performed as an associate artist for Cleveland Opera on Tour, and a chorister for Cleveland Opera, Pittsburgh Opera and the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh. I played bass in the orchestra pits for productions at Playhouse Square Foundation, Cleveland Playhouse and Great Lakes Theatre Festival, and supported a wide array of talent ranging from Phyllis Diller to the Fat Boys.
